The most EXCITING news is we are changing so many lives for so many people!!! It wouldn't be possibly without all of you!!!
We are actively involved with THE BEACON HOUSE Family Support , once a month the residents come to the salon for FREE shampoo, cuts and blowouts, and enjoy a DELICIOUS meal provided by one of you and your generosity!! also we do fundraisers and other FUN things to offer support!!
With you help we were able to purchases the biggest bag of rice for an orphanage of disabled children in a village in Liberia!!
Currently we have been receiving donations alongside my church Fellowship, for a woman and her 4 children who are on the verge of losing evrything. Life seems to be snowballing out of controll, in need of basic living neccessaties,clothes,food,diapers. all the things I take for granted everyday. Yesterday I had the privelage of driving to her home, with my car overflowing with all of your KINDNESS!!! Thank you!! this is going to be the begining of something AMAZING for her and her family!
So many individual stories of people and circumstances that seem impossible and hopeless we are seeing and being apart of this journey of HOPE, REDEMPTION and HEALING.!!!! But not without many tears thats for sure! My heart has has laughed alongside so many but also has wept along twice as many.
This is the reason, the why, why I do what I do. The salon is about so much more than being just another beauty salon in the town. It is ALTERED EGO Discovering the beautiful truth of you.

So in discovering the beautiful truth of me I've decided to wear SEQUINS every day for the next 30 days! What do I think I will discover? Seems silly , maybe shallow, but it will be fun! Who knows what I will discover about myself. This I know for sure, my life is a gift, I feel like Ive won the lottery in life,I could of been born anywhere at anytime, in a slum in a 3rd world country, to a drug addict on the street, or 100 years ago, or 100 years from now. But for whatever reason God has chosen to place me here, at this time, in this place for a reason, and as I am discovering this beautiful truth of me i am going to CELEBRATE!!!!!
